I know!! 😂I think spending "the day" with my husband and kids would be too sad for me. That's why I chose to write them letters in the company of the dog instead. Then I could say all the right things to them without all of us being covered in grief snot.❤️
And your intuition, to me, is correct in terms of emphasis, which you jump on ASAP: “Be the hero in your own story. Be a memorable supporting character in everyone else’s.”
